A branch of the Devon confectionery maker whose whole range is gluten free: flapjacks, fudge and chocolate clusters, all baked at its Tavistock bakery using certified gluten free oats. The Lymington shop on the High Street opened in December 2023 and trades seven days a week.

Gluten-free options

Everything in the shop is gluten free. The company confirms its Tavistock bakery is gluten free all year round, seasonal lines included, and its flapjacks are made with certified gluten free oats, which closes off the usual contamination route with oats. Flavours run from traditional to clotted cream fudge and peanut butter fudge.

Before you order

Products are made at the company's own bakery rather than on site, so the shop itself handles no gluten. One caveat the company raises itself: oats, even certified gluten free ones, do not suit every coeliac, because a small number of people react to the avenin in oats.
